United Way Truck Pull

(September 2018) The 4th Annual Midland Pulling for the United Way Truck Pull transpired in exciting fashion Saturday, September 5th. Participating teams attempted to pull 60,000 LB. tractor trailers 125 feet down Main Street, Moncton.

Businesses, community organizations, and high schools participated in the event. Of the 16 corporate teams from across Greater Moncton, Irving Consumer Products was able to narrowly edge Midland by only .04 seconds to be named the 4th victors of the annual fundraiser.

Sponsors for the event included United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, Midland Transport Limited, 91.9 the Bend, and The City of Moncton. The truck pull raised over $15,000 in funds that will go towards efforts to improve lives locally, creating long-term, sustainable change; moving people from poverty to possibility and creating strong communities.
