8th Annual Pulling for the United Way Truck Pull
The community came together in Dieppe, NB for the 8th Annual Pulling for the United Way truck pull, raising an impressive $21,763 for local programs and services.
(September 2024 – Dieppe, NB) - On September 20, 2024, the grounds around the Marché Dieppe Market in Dieppe, NB, was buzzing as the community gathered for the 8th annual Pulling for the United Way truck pull. This year’s event was a definite success, raising an impressive $21,763 for the United Way Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick. The funds raised will will be reinvested into the community, helping support local programs and services.
The competition saw 13 teams showcasing their strength and teamwork. The rivalry was intense, but in the end, the Division A title was claimed by East Coast International. Emerging Talent emerged victorious in Division B, while the team from Chandler were crowned champs of Division C.
The event’s success was not only driven by the participants’ competition but also by the outstanding organizing committee and the dedicated volunteers who ensured everything ran seamlessly. Their hard work and commitment truly made the truck pull a highlight of the community calendar.
