The Humanity Project

(December 2019) John Majensky (rightmost in the above image) has been an
owner-operator at Midland for over 7 years. Anyone who meets John soon finds
out that he is incredibly passionate about giving back, especially over the
holiday season. For the second year in a row, John has rallied his family and
friends to serve a holiday feast for those less fortunate at the Humanity
Project in Moncton. The group collected donations, purchased food, put hours
into preparation, served the meal, and cleaned up after everyone had eaten.
Because of John and his team, over 100 community members in need were able to
enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner!

Charlie Burrell, the founder of the Humanity Project, first
met John when he came walking through the front doors one day. John has a pretty
elaborate smoking set up and volunteered to prepare as much ham and fixings as could
be eaten.

The Humanity Project prepares meals for the homeless and
working poor year-round and depends primarily on community members like John to
donate provisions, winter-wear, volunteer time, and more. To find out how you
